Student Chapter of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Des Moines University Student Chapter of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (SCACFAS) aims to stimulate active research in the area of podiatric surgery by students, to expose our students to a greater personal interaction with practicing podiatrists, to give our members an opportunity to develop their self-confidence and speaking abilities by presen¬ting case presentations, to enhance the knowledge of our students and faculty by presenting guest lectures, and to increase our students podiatric clinical skills by presenting “hands-on” workshops.
