The DMU Chapter of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is among the first to be established at osteopathic medical schools throughout the U.S. Our goal is to provide a place for Latino students to celebrate their culture, increase cultural competency of the student body, provide students opportunities to engage with the Latino population of Des Moines, and help students practice Spanish.
