Emergency Medicine Club

The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) serves students interested in emergency medicine and holds voting status in the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Medicine Residents Association. Members are given the opportunity to learn about the specialty through lectures and presentations from emergency physicians, and are exposed to early clinical training in emergency medicine through practical skills clinics and workshops sponsored by the club and presented by local emergency physicians. The group is also involved in policy and advocacy for emergency medicine education at the local, regional, and national levels through ACEP, EMRA, and ACOEP.
