PURPOSE
Led by a panel of behavioral health experts, Behavioral Health ECHO helps participants learn best practices for treating common mental health conditions and connect with peers from around the state to discuss and learn best practices for identifying and treating behavioral health issues. The curriculum is delivered free through case-based learning strategies using videoconferencing technology.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Recognize common signs and symptoms of stress in healthcare professionals and staff during and after a disaster.
- Demonstrate practical strategies and tools to support healthcare workers' well-being, including effective communication techniques, appropriate accommodations, and resource referrals.
- Develop approaches to foster a supportive healthcare workplace environment that promotes organization and individual wellness during disaster recovery and beyond.
