Dr. Joel Greenberg is offering this presentation for students and athletes. This is an introduction into the science of anxiety, with specific information intended to help you better understand the mind/body connection and how to recognize the impact of anxiety, as well as techniques to help you feel better equipped to 'lean into' these experiences when they occur. There will be an experiential component in which we'll learn about and practice relaxation breathing and mindfulness techniques. We'll then discuss ways in which to apply these concepts to your life, whether anxiety occurs at school, in sports, or socially.
