Session Description:
Dr. Schwartz will describe the communitarian principles and curricular choices that accompanied the founding, development, and expansion of an Osteopathic Medical school established to train at and for Community Health Centers. Teaching over a distributed network with synchronous and asynchronous content delivery and early clinical immersion will be described. Expect a frank discussion of strengths, weaknesses, barriers and solutions.
