DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the training is to educate community service pro
 viders on opioid misuse\, overdose and how to screen for high risk substan
 ce use. The increase in opioid misuse\, overdose and high risk substance u
 se results in a significant need for more behavioral health education to a
 ll professionals serving the community.\n\nThis opportunity will provide i
 nformation on how to recognize an overdose\, how to respond to an overdose
  and administer naloxone. It will also explain the basics of medication as
 sisted treatment/recovery and an introduction on Screening\, Brief Interve
 ntion and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and how to implement SBIRT.\n\nThe
 re will be four opportunities for you to attend this one-day event on unde
 rstanding the impacts of opioid use for the individual\, the community and
  the nation. Each date will cover the same set of topics\, participants sh
 ould only attend one. There is not a cost to attend. \n\nView the activity
