PURPOSE
 

Led by a panel of behavioral health experts, Behavioral Health ECHO helps participants learn best practices for treating common mental health conditions and connect with peers from around the state to discuss and learn best practices for identifying and treating behavioral health issues. The curriculum is delivered free through case-based learning strategies using videoconferencing technology.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

 

  • Describe the intersection of substance use disorders (SUD), HIV, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Explain evidence-based approaches for integrating routine HIV and STI screening into SUD treatment programs.
  • Identify strategies to reduce stigma and address implementation barriers.
