You may have heard about it or seen green bandanas displayed on backpacks and in offices around campus. Now, you can get your own! We are excited to announce the fall dates of the GBP, starting in July (in-person and Zoom option available). This evidence-based suicide prevention training will be live, interactive, and last approximately one hour. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. Following completion of the training, attendees will receive a green bandana, campus and community resource card, and booklet, which summarizes the methods described in the training. We encourage you to display the bandana prominently to show your commitment to reducing stigma related to mental health concerns, and signal that you are a safe person for others to receive support from. There are several training dates available, though attendance at each session is limited, so reserve your seat early!

Participation qualifies for Wellness Pays credit. Can’t make it to a July session? More dates will be added later in the fall—please keep an eye out for future announcements!
