The CEE invites all faculty to join this upcoming Faculty Development session. Dr. Brian Pinney and Dr. Kathleen Weiss will be presenting "Qualitative Research at a Glance." 

Have you considered qualitative research but don't know where to start? Or are you wondering if a qualitative study is appropriate for a specific research question? In this session, we will introduce qualitative research methods by exploring the types of questions qualitative research is best suited to answer and data collection methods that are commonly used in answering them. Participants will engage in small group discussion around example research questions followed by large-group debrief to compare and contrast approaches.
