In commemoration to our body donors, the anatomy department cordially invites administration, faculty, staff, and students to its body donation remembrance service.  The service will be held 10:30am, Saturday, May 02, 2026, at DMU32 in the Olsen Center, 3200 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa.  This year we will be memorializing 47 donors who selflessly donated their body for anatomical education and research.  Following the service, there will be an opportunity for a time of fellowship and refreshments for those in attendance.  In the event you are unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed on our body donation program webpage: https://www.dmu.edu/body-donation/remembrance-service/.

The donor families have been instructed to park in the parking ramp and in the southeast parking lot on campus.  I encourage those who plan to attend to refrain from parking in these areas to allow adequate parking for  donor families.
